  • Meat lug or large bowl




  • Pre heat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Line sheet pans with foil and place Jerky or cooling rack in teh sheet-pan
  • Spray rack lighting with cooking spray

The Jerky

  • Mix all ingredients in the meat lug or large bowl until fully combined
    5 lbs lean ground beef, 5 tbsp Soy Sauce, 5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 5 tbsp Morton Tender Quick, 10 tbsp Farm Boy Rub
  • Place mix in the Jerky Cannon
  • Extrude strips on to the racks


  • Cook at for 5 hours rotating racks and turning them every hour
  • Remove from rack while warm, let cool and enjoy
  • refrigerate unused Jerky for a week or 2


If you do not have a Jerky Cannon you could place the meat between 2 pieces of wax paper or parchment paper and roll to about 1/4 inch thick with a rolling pin.  Then cut with a pizza cutter or knife and place carefully on the racks.
