Equipment

  • 3 quart oven safe baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Plain Biscuits By Daddy-O Biscuit mix
  • 1 cup white sugar split
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon or cake spice blend I use our cake spice blend that is sold at some Farms Markets in Iowa
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • sticks Butter

Instructions
 

  • Pre Heat oven to 350 ° F
  • spay baking dish with a light layer of cooking spray
  • in a medium size bowl mix biscuit mix by the instructions on the package
  • is a small bowl mix ¾ cup of the white sugar and 1 ½ tbsp
  • pull off small pieces of biscuit dough and make small rough balls about ¾ of an inch. roll these in the cinnamon sugar mix and place in the baking dish repeat until all the dough is used
  • sprinkle the balance of the cinnamon sugar mix over the top and set aside.
  • in a 2 quart sauce pan mix remaining white and brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon and cook to a boil
  • Pour sauce of the top of the baking dish
  • bake for about 40 minutes (ovens may vary)
  • remove from oven when to is slightly golden brown and breaking open a biscuit pieces shows that it is cooked
  • let rest for 10 mintues before enjoying
